What is iNaturalist?

iNaturalist is digital community where people can share photographs of plants and animals they observed. This platform is an excellent way to share your findings, keep records, and discover new species.

Why join Canvas on iNaturalist?

The Canvas Natural Resource Solutions Project group is intended to be a place where Canvas biologists, clients, and associates can share species observations they have made on their property, around town, or even on their travels. Our biologists, as well as the rest of the community, can assist with plant identification, wildlife identification, and other species identification, and help you learn more and more about your resources.

How do I join?

To join, you will need to log into, or create a new account with iNaturalist on either their website, www.iNaturalist.org, or on their mobile app. You can then join the Canvas project group by following the link below and clicking Join this project on the Canvas iNaturalist page.
